Cheap Skateboard

A cheap skateboard is a good gift for someone and is also a great way to start learning how to skateboard as a hobby. They can be found at sporting goods stores, toy stores and online. They typically come fully assembled and ready to ride as soon as the packaging is removed. It is a good idea to check and tighten the bolts if necessary.

A cheap skateboard typically has cheap parts. The wheels, trucks, bearings and bolts are typically lower quality parts that won’t stand up to heavy abuse. The one piece that is very similar to a regular skateboard is the deck which is fairly standard throughout the skateboarding industry.

Many people build their own cheap skateboard with a blank deck and then by slowly adding the other pieces. Bearings can be found for less than 10 dollars and used pairs of wheels can be found from friends. Bolts and nuts are easily found at any hardware store.
