Skateboard Shoes

Skateboard shoes come in many different styles and are made by many different companies. Brand names don’t denote a high quality shoe and many shoe companies have made a name for themselves based on the great shoes they manufacture.

The most important aspect of good skateboarding shoes is comfort and support. They should be easy to wear under all circumstances but also have enough support for the jump and kick of skateboard riding. A shoe with poor support will wear out faster and could hurt the feet. They are made from durable materials and often have extra rubber around the toes and heels for added grip.

A good tip when trying on skate shoes is to bring the deck they will be riding on. Try them on under the skateboard to get a feel for how they will perform. The shoes are the only connection to the deck so they should fit well. Just remember any sneakers look cool when they are upside down ten feet in the air.
